Ahhhh, I have waited for this one for a little while now, and I am glad to see just what has come out of this.
The simple background just sets the mood for the whole scene almost a character in its own right.
Alice just simply pops, I love how nothing else matches her colors in the entire work. She stands out against everything and its just beautiful. I also love the shotgun shells strapped to the leg for that hint of something we missed.
The white rabbit is amazing and I nearly didn't get it at first glance, fitting with the rabbits personality...
The wave of cards "suits" this perfectly...hehe
Excellenct meshing of future and past in a world where surprises are the norm...
first of all, I just want to say Holy Moly! I love this. the take is still whimsical wonderland feel to it but has a depth with the darkness also.
I'll start with the background since there is so much detail here. The chess battleground, cards and the red queen's heart palace in ruins I love the mushrooms you put in since they really help perk up the childish whimsy.
The mech white rabbit, dude, that is just awesome in and of itself. you make it badass while still sticking to its jittery, shy character. Wonderful.
Alice, ahh, Alice armor, buckles, and vorpul sword in hand along with her expression gives a bolstering confidence of 'I can take on the world. The iconic blue dress gives her the with the fanciful girlish nature is a good balance for each other.
the color scheme of red and blues is a good choice, I do feel like the red dominates the scene with the sky, mushrooms, blood and red queen's castle in ruins.
Overall, Fantastic balancing act between, tasteful, childish and oddly mature.
Death to the false empress! Death to the Red Queen!
There are few things sexier than a lady with a bloody sword in one hand and shotgun shells strapped to her thigh. I am having a hard time thinking of them, however.
